EarthBuilders Wins: Zuda's Current Voting System

This was taken minutes after it states in the rules that the contest ends.

This is what is up on Zuda now:

You know, not to be a sore loser, and I know that we don't see the actual votes, but I call BS. We ("Team Mother") were in first place for all but two days, and we had better favorites than EarthBuilders. So one can assume that our number of votes were almost equal to our number of favorites. You could also say the same for Earthbuilders. So how they won with an inferior favorite count - they must have had one astronomical leap in votes.

I will be asking about how the final tally is rounded out at Comic-Con, because right now it seems that votes can be overridden by all these other variables way too easily. Ratings are fun and favorites are a good way to bookmark your comics as well as gauge how the contests are going, but they should not be part of the final score.

its pretty easy
the friend of the guy that made it spammed everywhere to get votes on various ircs and forums.

Its not that you guys lost, but mainly that the friend of the creator felt that their friend deserved it more, even tho everyone that put a lot of hard work into it deserve it equally essentially you lost because the friend of the creator b'awwwed.

You should look into independent comic companies, would love to buy comics from earth builders and other stuff.

Nice attempt at trolling, HunterRose. But that's the point of PR. That's how it works. And it worked.

As a member of the Earthbuilders team, I come in peace, just to share my opinion.

You have every right to be upset about your favourite not winning, but I think that's not reason to disqualify the competence. No one outside the Zuda team knows the actual number of votes, and the ranking is done every monday, so we don't know the moment Earthbuilders got the first place. It could well have been a day or half a day before that screen was taken, many people vote without faving, so those votes don't reflect on the visible statistics.

Every team creates an strategy, and obviously every member of the team calls for votes from friends, they don't say: "visit Zuda, and check the comics, and if you like mine, vote for it". They say: "visit and vote for mine". That's it. Mother had some weird campaign using a fake web page of the popular movie "Rudo y cursi". Should that be considered cheating? Of course not, everything that is not forbidden is allowed. Peace.

Even though I wanted The kind you don't bring home to Mother to win, I agree with what Axel has to say.
This Bryy guy comes up with votes on his own. Where the hell do you get the vote totals Bryy? Hmmm...
